Well it was clear that the 30 men on the field were fired up to play rugby, the ball just seemed to be a problem & the conditions were made it even worse... SuperSport.com headlined: Blues Survive late scare to stay on top. Not much separated the two sides at halftime.... The Canes stepped up the pace in the 2nd half, they were on attack, but then a yellow card followed instead... Then in Melbourne the Newcomers welcomed the Reds. The Rebels were the 1st to have points on the board, but once the Reds got going there was no turning back & it took 60 min to secure the bonus point try. The Rebels took a hard blow, with Huxley's goal-kicking being a disaster.... Whilst the Reds secured their 9th victory of the season, still leading the Australian Conference. In South Africa, it was a local Cat-fight between the Lions & the Cheetahs at Coca-Cola Park. The Lions didn't seem to find momentum. Brussow took advantage from the breakdown area's, Ebersohn punished them with the boot & Riaan Viljoen was the try machine. iAfrica headlined - Cheetahs Feast on Lions .
